To make a bank transfer please email mail@shepethiopia.org.uk and ask for our account details.

In either case, if you are eligible, signing a Gift Aid Declaration would allow us to claim an extra 25% from the taxman. The logo on the right is a link to it - best to download it and then print.

You can donate from a CAF Account . To do this online enter our charity number 1161261 into the search box on their Donate Page.

That page also accepts credit/debit card and PayPal donations but for those they deduct a fee of 5%.

Online Donations. Unfortunately BT's low-cost Mydonate service has closed. We can take credit/debit card and PayPal donations via CAF (see above) but they take a 5% fee. Sorry.

Regular donations have been important to us, but we are now working in a way that makes individual donations more appropriate.

Until recently we had a policy of having funds in reserve for about one year of spending. This meant that when we went to Ethiopia we could identify things to support and start making arrangements straight away. Regular donations helped us to see that we would be in the same situation for the next year.

Now that most of our work is through our local partner we don't need to be able to act quickly during an annual visit so we have spent most of our reserves (on hand-dug wells in Jidda) and will mainly be raising funds for things identified in advance.
